How 4TSP came to be...

How 4TSP came to be...

Hey there!  We're moving right along in our journey into 2025.  And my fingers still want to hit the 4 instead of the 5.  I figure I'll have that problem till about June.  So if you see a typo of the number fashion, just overlook me. Thanks!

Well, I've kind of got an idea of some things that I'd like to talk about in the future on this blog.  But, some of you don't even know who we are, or why we should be an authority on apparel decoration and care.  So here goes, a little about us.

My name is Christy and I'm married to a wonderful guy named Kevin.  As we go on and you get to know me better, you'll see that Kevin puts up with a lot.  Those who know him, know that he needs a lot of prayer.  His wife is a mess, lol.

We own 4T Screen Printing & More, LLC.  That name came about because when we first opened up, there were 4 T's, Kevin & me, and our two kiddos Nicholas & Sabrina (our last name starts with a T). Our kiddos aren't kiddos anymore, they are both grown and out on their own.  Our son is married to a beautiful girl named Branda (5T) and Sabrina has a boyfriend, Hayden, and they both joke that he will be the 6th T. We still have a friend who jokingly calls us 1T, 2T, 3T, & 4T.

We have a brick-and-mortar custom screen printing shop (we do a lot more than just screen printing, but that is what we are known best for).  We've been in business (in town) in our hometown in the middle of the country for 10 years now (we did little things for ourselves and our best friends at home before that).

Up until 2024, we've been a custom shop only, except for a few things I sold on Facebook. Last year, we launched our website (4tscreenprinting.com) and I now have room for a retail area in our store, since our old building sold & we had to move last September.

We have a manual screen printing press where we print directly on garments, or we can screen print transfers. My hubbs runs our embroidery machine after he gets home from his "real" job. We offer custom direct-to-film and decorative vinyl. We sublimate on apparel, hard goods (tumblers, cups, ornaments, etc) and specialty items (mousepads, wristlets, earrings, etc). We make signs, banners, and decals. We also make trophies and plaques.

We've decorated everything you can imagine over the years.  From embroidering on Hay Bale Bags, to screen printing on Drinking Glasses.  We've helped with fundraisers, clubs, business promotions, practical jokes, memorials, you name it.

Since the beginning, we've worked to educate our customers on how to take care of their garments.  Over the last couple of years, there have been so many different kinds of materials pop up that require us to take certain measures when decorating and that require the customer to care for a certain way.  I'm going to tackle some of those, plus the "normals".

As you can see, I'm a talker. I'm noticing that this is getting long and I can't really think of anything else that I need to share.  If you have any questions, let me know.  Next time, we'll jump right in to customer education.  Thanks for reading!

P.S. Pic is of 3T, 4T, 5T, and almost 6T (just not in that order). This picture always makes momma smile.
